Dragonlady in the hospital and getting her home today. We had to have a babysitter while in the hospital so she would not escape. Now 24 hour care at home arranged. Nurses in hospital–the unsung heroes. Hope they enjoyed the girl scout cookies. New CT today. Hopefully I haven’t lost too much ground thanks to PAMF screwing me around. Hopefully next week the treatments will begin at Stanford. While in hospital, about 100 feet from the hospital to the adjacent building, they made me take an ambulance for some insane fee for a one minute ride. WTF? Check out some of these charges. CT Scan in the hospital costs–OMFG!. Operating room charge for a port placement of about 15 minutes–insane.
