What happened to day 87, 88, 89, and 90???? Spent a few days in the hospital with a bad reaction to the new treatment. Started with the horse pills. I had the infusion and all was great. Infusion center at Stanford is really nice. Nurses were great. Fast forward 4 hours—->headache, nausea & vomiting & fever & pain everywhere. I sent a text to my husband to bring home some pain medication. He took me to the ER later that night. Spent a couple days in the hospital. That means I missed a trip to UCLA with my son to tour the campus he may attend. Now this drug I was given is a chimera meaning it has human and another species DNA in it. It has mouse DNA.
Part 2 – got off a call with a group that gives you a mentor “hook-up”. Good luck matching me. Back to the story. From the ER to a holding cell for observation. Daughter brings me drugs and it helps. Everyone got to watch me hurl. Still got poked at 5 am. I slept so much. Got a ride home from the white bitch mobile. Got home and had to clean up my daughter’s crap. Ate some blue jello. Not liking being a mouse woman. Cancer is a pain in my ass.
Yikes. Sounds like a rough few days. Mice better do something good for once!
