Blitzed a video. Surgery is officially scheduled on the 12th. The colon tumor is to be removed. Lies on the outside of the colon (extramural). Laparoscopic approach. The tumor is around vessels and nerves and because of that, I have to have intraoperative radiation. This allows for a much higher focused treatment rather than all the collateral damage from external radiation. Hope I won’t need a colostomy. But if I do and someone makes me mad, I get to throw things like the mad monkeys. Yeah–another bowel prep. Say yes to Su-Prep. Will be in the hospital a few days because I’ll have ileus from the surgery. Chewing gum can get the bowl moving faster. Have to meet the ostomy nurse. Skin lesions coming on. The infusion schedule will change a bit. Weight is a challenge but doing ok.
