4 weeks to go to have my plumbing repaired. Painting the kids’ rooms. I’m going to be a mentor for Imerman Angels. (https://imermanangels.org/). They pair a cancer patient with a mentor who has a similar cancer. My angel Nicole helped me navigate this cancer world and was a big help. Each facility has its specialty concerning cancer and other issues. You have to do your research to find the leader in the space and it changes often. To become a mentor they interview you. Through the process, they ask what kind of support have you had. My friends have been an enormous help (and cousins, too). Cancer has made me reconnect with my friends. You have no idea how little gestures make a big impact on getting through this fight. Pain is still there but it’s manageable. Thanks everyone!!
