Not enjoying this therapy. Foot pain is bad!! Burns and ache all the time. Have to moisturize all the time and wear diabetic socks. They blister, too. Hard to walk. Have to use special inserts to allow me to walk. Despite the discomfort, still putting in the miles. Some pain meds help but not that much. The days after chemo are usually much worse than the days after infusion. Spots starting to show up now everywhere. Skin is darkening. Mental and physical strength is paramount in fighting this disease. However, it occupies so much of my energy both mentally and physically, I don’t have a lot of time for other things like work. Dental work I need to get done as the chemo is starting to affect my oral health.
